Driver Appreciation Day

Bus Chick and a few others have declared tomorrow the unofficial Bus Driver Appreciation Day! It's a nice thought, and why not extend it to all transit operators? In an age where more people are going green, either out of environmental consciousness or economic necessity, it seems that such a day of recognition is in order.
